How many kids don’t report it because the person in charge say “If you tell anyone, they won’t believe you because you’re a kid and I’m an adult?”
If someone in charge tells you that, you believe it because you’re a kid. If they go unreported, it’s due to that more than people trying to sweep it under the rug.
I like to believe people have morals.
They wouldn’t need state laws mandating people working with children to report any signs of abuse if adults reported things the way they should.
